Presence is the next evolution of the Eidolon ecosystem.

Built on the real-world experience gained through the successfully funded and fully delivered Eidolon Home AI campaign, Presence expands the idea of local artificial intelligence beyond traditional chat applications and cloud-dependent assistants.

Presence is being developed as a persistent local AI environment designed to remain available, adaptive, collaborative, and continuously useful across creative, productive, and personal workflows.

Unlike isolated AI tools designed around one-shot interactions, Presence combines multimodal interaction, contextual continuity, brainstorming systems, creative orchestration, memory persistence, and specialized local AI agents into a unified ecosystem designed to run directly on consumer hardware.

Presence Environment

Presence Environment transforms local AI from a reactive assistant into a persistent ambient cognitive system capable of remaining active inside the user’s digital environment over time.

Presence is designed to:
maintain long-term continuity and memory,
interact through voice, vision, and multimodal interfaces,
observe connected webcams through lightweight local snapshots,
react to environmental changes,
assist with daily workflows,
generate autonomous internal reflections during inactivity,
and remain available even when the user temporarily steps away.

Local Perception & Privacy

Presence Environment is designed around local contextual awareness rather than cloud surveillance.

When enabled by the user, Presence can observe environmental changes through lightweight local perception systems designed to maintain contextual continuity and react to changes over time.
Presence does not continuously stream, upload, or permanently record webcam footage.

Instead:
snapshots are processed locally on the user’s machine,
images are not permanently stored,
no visual data is transmitted to external servers,
and the system maintains only lightweight descriptive context representations used to compare environmental changes between moments in time.

This allows Presence to:
detect presence or absence,
recognize contextual changes,
maintain continuity,
and react to state changes
without requiring permanent video recording or cloud-based monitoring systems.

All perception systems are optional, locally executed, and fully controlled by the user.

Presence is designed around the idea that contextual AI should remain private, transparent, and user-owned.
Its core purpose is collaborative brainstorming and cognitive assistance.

But Presence Environment is not designed only for companionship or entertainment. Presence is being developed to help users:

The Presence Coding Agent is being designed as a collaborative local development system capable of planning, generating, reviewing, testing, and iterating software projects through structured workflows rather than simple autocomplete generation.
The Creative Writing Agent is designed to assist with storytelling, narrative continuity, worldbuilding, dialogue refinement, character development, and long-form creative workflows.

The Creative Direction Agent is being developed as a higher-level orchestration system capable of helping users define visual language, narrative tone, stylistic direction, shot composition, campaign structure, and production guidelines for trailers, short films, promotional clips, social campaigns, and multimedia creative projects.

Rather than generating isolated prompts, Presence Agents are designed to collaborate together as components of a broader local AI ecosystem.

Presence Director Studio

Presence Director Studio transforms generative AI into a collaborative creative workflow rather than simple one-shot prompting.

Director Studio is specifically designed around iterative creative refinement.

Rather than requiring users to manually engineer highly detailed prompts, Presence can begin from a simple high-level description and progressively refine the creative direction through conversational interaction.

Presence is designed to:
ask targeted creative questions,
refine visual concepts,
improve prompt structure automatically,
maintain narrative and stylistic continuity,
orchestrate image and video generation workflows,
assist with character consistency and digital identities,
and help users progressively arrive at the exact creative result they envision.

The goal is not simply image generation. The goal is collaborative creative direction.

Director Studio is being developed to support multiple local generative pipelines for image, video, music, and future multimodal creative workflows directly on consumer hardware.

Built on Real Experience

Presence is not a concept project.
Before Presence, we created Eidolon Home AI, a fully funded and delivered local AI ecosystem successfully deployed across Windows, Linux, and macOS platforms.

That experience shaped the design of Presence and taught us:
how local AI behaves on real consumer hardware,
how multimodal systems scale outside controlled demonstrations,
how users actually interact with AI over long periods of time,
and how to build AI software designed for everyday use rather than short-lived tech demos.

Much of the core infrastructure behind Presence already exists today, allowing this campaign to focus on expansion, integration, refinement, and new capabilities rather than starting from zero.

Presence Seed Founder Edition
